"AccessBank" joined the "Women's Empowerment Centers for Azerbaijan" project
Your local European bank - "AccessBank" has joined the project of supporting women entrepreneurs in the regions of our country. AccessBank provides women with the advisory services, resources and communication they need to succeed in entrepreneurship.
The Women's Empowerment Centers for Azerbaijan project is funded by the US Embassy in Azerbaijan and implemented by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) with the support of AccessBank. The project started in October 2022 and will continue until September 2024. Within the framework of the project, trainings are organized in Baku, Ganja, Khachmaz, Kurdamir, Lankaran, Salyan and Sheki (including villages).
The goals of the project are to support the socio-economic participation and leadership of women by developing their knowledge and skills, creating professional networks and increasing their economic opportunities in entrepreneurial activity or quality work, strengthening entrepreneurship and business skills based on the needs and desires of women, and strengthening their connection with a sustainable society.
So far, 9 people have been involved in the training held in Salyan, 18 people in Khachmaz, and 19 people in Baku. Topics such as leadership, communication, financial and sales forecasting, marketing, financial plan, business plan were held in the 10-day "Women are engaged in business" training course in Khachmaz city. In addition, at the Head Office of AccessBank, training was held for women on the topic of "Stress Management in Business", and women were informed about the rules of behavior in stressful situations and ways to combat stress.
Yuliya Jurenkova, Head of Marketing Department, and Elmaddin Hajiyev, Manager of Micro and Agro Clients, were engaged by AccessBank as trainers.
