"Gamesummit" and "OMNI AI Summit" brought together over 4,000 visitors

The development of the gaming industry and the practical application of artificial intelligence took center stage during the summits held in exclusive partnership with Azercell.
The "Gamesummit" and "OMNI AI Summit," hosted in Baku with Azercell as an exclusive partner, brought together representatives from international technology companies, experts, and entrepreneurs. Azercell, which featured a dedicated stand at the summits, introduced visitors to its newly launched gaming services—part of its broader portfolio of digital products.
More than 30 companies were represented at the events, which drew a total of over 4,000 attendees. With the participation of representatives from international firms such as Google, Xsolla, Microsoft/Xbox, BytePlus, and Wonderful AI, discussions focused on the future of the gaming industry, current trends in technology, and the integration of artificial intelligence solutions into business processes. Speaking at the opening of the event, Sona Abbasova, Director of the Corporate Communications Department at Azercell, emphasized that gaming services and artificial intelligence play a significant role in the company's digital development strategy:
"Today, Azercell’s goal is to provide customers with innovative digital solutions that offer new opportunities, alongside traditional telecommunication services. Artificial intelligence and gaming services are key pillars of this strategy. Our objective is to enrich the customer experience and contribute to the development of Azerbaijan’s digital ecosystem."
Nargiz Taghizade, Head of the Digital Value-Added Services and Partnerships Department at Azercell, participated in a panel discussion titled "From Illusion to Reality: Global Expansion and Sustainable Growth Strategies for Game Studios," alongside representatives from Xsolla, Burson, Recontact Games, and Meridian Play. She discussed the support and partnership opportunities Azercell can offer game developers and independent studios looking to enter the Azerbaijani market, emphasizing the importance of adapting games to the local language, culture, and user expectations. Nargiz Taghizade also shared information regarding Azercell’s portfolio of gaming solutions. In this context, she highlighted Azercell’s experience—notably as the first and only operator in the country to enable users to top up their Steam accounts via their mobile balance—as well as the "Gaming Portal" launched within the Azercell app.
It is worth noting that the "Starnest Academy AI Hackathon" was also held as part of the "OMNI AI Summit." Bringing together over 500 participants, the hackathon saw 250 teams work on AI-based products and solutions. The competition was organized to encourage the practical application of artificial intelligence and to foster the development of new technological ideas.
