A new educational project is being launched under the "4Sİ Academy," an initiative of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SİM) operating under the Ministry of Economy. As part of this project—and with the support of the Ministry of Economy—103 books on management and business, authored by globally renowned experts, have been made available to the public through the efforts of SOCAR.
The primary objective of the project is to support the development of human capital in alignment with the shifts brought about by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, to prepare a workforce capable of meeting the demands of a rapidly evolving labor market, and to foster modern management skills.
In an era where artificial intelligence, automation, and other advanced technologies are transforming work processes, the labor market increasingly demands not only technical knowledge but also skills such as analytical and creative thinking, problem-solving, adaptability to change, leadership, and teamwork. The new project aims to enhance the professional competitiveness of citizens by contributing to the development of these specific skills.
The books are made available through the online library www.pocketbook.az. The platform features books in the Azerbaijani language across 10 categories, covering topics such as modern management, human resource development, leadership, creative thinking, communication, and more.
Titles available in the online library—including "Change Management", "Promoting Innovation", "Strategy", "Decision-Making", "Project Management", "Virtual Teams", "Leadership", and "Competencies"—provide essential knowledge for the effective management of technological transformation within organizations, application of innovative approaches, strategic decision-making, and adaptation to new work environments. These areas support the development of skills that are vital for both executives and professionals across various fields in the era of Industry 4.0.
