Water has been supplied to another village with the support of Coca-Cola Azerbaijan

In partnership with Coca-Cola İçecek and Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, the village of Sinjanboyad in Shabran region has been provided with clean water. As a result of the project, which was implemented with the support of EcoHub ecological platform and Shabran Region Executive Power, 855 residents have been provided with clean water.
Thus, in order to create a centralized water supply system in Sinjanboyad village, a 6-kilometer intra-village network system was built using the capabilities of the existing water supply system of Shabran region. In order to accurately record the water supplied to the population and use water economically, each subscriber was equipped with water meters. Thus, the daily demand for 165 m3 of water is fully met by the newly created water supply network.
In accordance with its Water Security Strategy planned until 2030, Coca-Cola supports the return of 100 percent of the water used in production to nature, protection and restoration of water resources, and improvement of water supply to local communities. The company sees water not only as the main ingredient of its products, but also as a key resource for the well-being of people and the sustainability of nature. This is not just a corporate responsibility - it is a contribution to life itself.
It should be noted that with the support of Coca-Cola, water supply works were completed in the village of Marzandiye in Shamakhi region in September last year, providing more than 1,300 residents with clean water. Before that, a drip irrigation system was installed in Absheron region to prevent water waste in irrigation of a total of 100,000 trees planted with the support of Coca-Cola Foundation. In cooperation with the ADA Foundation, “Save Water, Revive Nature” project is being implemented, which aims to reuse groundwater for watering trees on the territory of the educational institution.
It should be noted that Coca-Cola is a global beverage company that sells its products in more than 200 countries and its goal is to refresh consumers around the world and make a difference.
