More than 12,000 trees were planted on the initiative of Trendyol and PASHA Holding

Turkiye's leading e-commerce platform and one of the world's largest e-commerce platforms, Trendyol, has successfully completed the second phase of its large-scale tree planting campaign in the country, together with PASHA Holding.

This initiative is part of the ongoing activities of both companies to reduce the effects of climate change and protect the environment. Within the framework of the project, greening works were carried out consistently in a number of regions of the republic over the past year. In the first phase of the campaign, 5,500 Eldar pine and olive trees were planted in Goygol region and Mushfigabad settlement of Baku.

In the second stage, as part of the reforestation work carried out in Barda, Agjabedi, Zagatala, Zardab and Agdash regions, greening work continued on an area larger than 3 hectares, 1.2 hectares in Lerik region, and a total of 2 hectares in Gakh and Guba regions.

In the next stage, as a result of reforestation measures carried out in Shamkir, Khachmaz, Sabirabad, Shabran, Lerik, Masalli, Gakh, Tovuz, Yevlakh, Shirvan, Shabran, Khachmaz, Ismayilli, Zagatala, Agjabedi, Goranboy, Masalli, Gubadli, Dashkesan and Gabala regions, about 3,000 trees were planted on an area of ​​8 hectares.

Greening measures carried out in Sabirabad, Agjabedi, Dashkesan, Gobustan, Lerik, Astara, Zagatala, Sheki, Shamkir, Tovuz Oghuz, Guba, Gadabay, Lankaran, Shamkir, Goygol, Agjabedi regions covered an area of ​​more than 5 hectares.

Thus, within the framework of the campaign, initiated by Trendyol and PASHA Holding, with the executive partnership of EcoHub Public Union for Support to Ecological Initiatives, a total of 12,500 trees were planted on an area of ​​​​about 20 hectares.

It should be noted that environmental protection and the fight against climate change are part of the corporate social responsibility strategy of Trendyol and PASHA Holding.
