Expressbank organized a media tour to the city of Khankendi for representatives of the country's leading media organizations on the occasion of National Press and Journalism Day.
Held in the context of 2026 being declared the "Year of Urban Development and Architecture" in Azerbaijan, the purpose of the visit was to present firsthand the reconstruction and development efforts in the liberated territories, the investment projects implemented through public-private sector cooperation, and the financial support provided by Expressbank to these initiatives.
As part of the media tour, participants visited the GP Safety LLC Work Gloves Manufacturing Facility, which was financed by Expressbank through a preferential business loan with the support of the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund.
During the visit, media representatives were briefed on the facility's production process, the technologies employed, its production capacity, and its future development plans. It was noted that projects of this kind not only contribute to creating new jobs, expanding local manufacturing, and boosting economic activity in the region, but also play a significant role in the socio-economic revitalization of the liberated territories.
Following the tour of the facility, bank employees and media representatives gathered for lunch. As part of the visit's program, participants also visited Victory Park in Khankendi, where they spent some free time. The visit to Victory Park gave media representatives the opportunity to see one of the symbols of the country's historic victory while also observing the large-scale reconstruction and redevelopment efforts taking place across the region.
