The new title sponsor for the Women's Super League has been determined
Under the agreement reached between the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) and "Liv Bona Dea Hospital," the latter will serve as the title sponsor of the Women’s Super League.
For the 2026/2027 and 2027/2028 seasons, the championship will be held under the name "Liv Bona Dea Women’s Super League."
In the new season of the Azerbaijan Women’s Super League, which kicks off today, the competition has undergone changes to its name and format, and the number of participating teams has been increased to 12.
"Liv Bona Dea Hospital" is one of the leading private medical institutions operating in Azerbaijan. Part of the MLP Care group—which possesses extensive experience in the international healthcare sector—the hospital is distinguished by its modern medical technologies, professional staff, and broad spectrum of services.
Leveraging MLP Care’s expertise in sports health, "Liv Bona Dea Hospital" aims to contribute to the development of services focused on the health of athletes and to establish ongoing collaborations in this field. "Liv Bona Dea Hospital" becoming the title sponsor of the Women’s Super League will contribute to the development and popularization of women’s football in Azerbaijan, help the championship reach a wider audience, encourage young girls to take up the sport, and foster greater public interest and commercial partnerships within women’s football.
This partnership serves as a significant indicator of Liv Bona Dea Hospital’s commitment to the long-term development of Azerbaijani football, with a particular focus on women’s football.
