As a leading financial institution, AccessBank continues its activities in the field of micro, small and medium business development in Azerbaijan and strengthens its position as a reliable partner in promoting entrepreneurship. Continuous support for entrepreneurship, including the successful implementation of the self-employment program, is an integral part of AccessBank's mission.

Within the framework of this program, which is part of the complex measures of corporate social responsibility (CSR), during 2023, support measures were provided to 18 entrepreneurs belonging to vulnerable groups in different regions of the country, including Baku, Guba, Nakhchivan, Babek, Julfa, Sharur, Central Aran, Absheron-Khizi, Ganja-Dashkasan, Gazakh-Tovuz, Sheki-Zagatala. Basically, entrepreneurs are provided with equipment for tailor shops and beauty salons. During 2021-2023, AccessBank provided 59 entrepreneurs with the necessary equipment within the framework of the self-employment program.

AccessBank implements the current project in accordance with the implementation of the memorandum signed in 2020 between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Banks Association on cooperation in the field of supporting self-employment of vulnerable population groups. The purpose of the project is to increase the employment of vulnerable groups of the population (persons with disabilities, low-income families, families of martyrs, unemployed and jobseekers, etc.) and create additional opportunities to support access to small entrepreneurship.

The bank's shareholders include international organizations and institutions such as the Asian Development Bank, the European Investment Bank, and the International Finance Corporation. The bank has 32 branches, 14 in Baku and 18 in the regions, and continues to provide accessible financing opportunities for SMEs.
