PASHA Bank is among the sponsors of the “International Finance and Banking Summit 2026”, which commenced today in Baku.
Held on June 9–10, the summit brings together leading representatives of the banking and financial sectors, bank executives, regulatory authorities, FinTech companies, startups, investment and development institutions, as well as international organizations and industry experts.
Serving as a strategic platform aimed at accelerating the integration of regional financial systems into the global financial architecture, the summit addresses key priorities such as strengthening correspondent banking relationships and expanding international partnerships. Discussions focus on the major trends shaping the global financial sector in 2026, with the goal of fostering a sustainable and competitive financial ecosystem. Through panel sessions and B2B meetings, participants are provided with extensive opportunities for strategic dialogue and collaboration.
As part of the summit, Shahin Heydarov, Head of the AML and Monitoring Department at PASHA Bank, will serve as moderator of the panel discussion titled “Building Effective Compliance Ecosystems: Global Trends and Regional Perspectives.”
The panel will explore global and regional approaches to the evolution of AML/CFT standards, the enhancement of compliance frameworks, and risk management practices within the financial sector.
