The opening ceremony of the “National Program” is held within the framework of the 4SI Academy

On May 30, the opening ceremony of the "National Program" is being held in Baku, implemented jointly by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy and the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education.

The head of the digital economy department of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Khayala Fatullayeva, said in her speech that further expansion of the project is planned in the future.

It is noted that within the framework of the "National Program", the first 7,500 users began taking free courses from April 1. To date, citizens have submitted 20,242 applications for training on the platform. 2,326 courses have already been completed, and participants who have successfully completed the tasks have received international certificates.

As part of the program, it is planned to cover tens of thousands of users within one year who will be trained on the world's largest online platform Coursera. The goal of the program is to develop knowledge and skills in the field of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies to accelerate the transition to a digital economy in the country and support the training of qualified personnel for the labor market in this area.

The project won the "Innovations in Artificial Intelligence" nomination of the international competition "Coursera - Award for Outstanding Achievements 2024" in 2024. The main partners of the program are SOCAR, Pasha Holding, bp and JOCAP.
