Atlas Group invests in the professionals of the future – scholarships have been awarded to BSU students
Atlas Group, which identifies support for the education and professional development of young people as a priority area of its corporate social responsibility, has launched a new initiative. The company has contributed to the development of future professionals by awarding scholarships to students from the Faculty of Geology at Baku State University (BSU).
During a scholarship presentation ceremony held at Baku State University—part of a university-industry partnership—15 students from the Faculty of Geology were awarded scholarships established by seven private companies, including Atlas Group.
The event was attended by BSU leadership, academic staff, representatives from the partner companies, and students.
Speaking at the ceremony, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the importance of university-industry collaboration. He noted that such initiatives make a significant contribution to strengthening ties between academia and industry, developing the potential of young people, and fostering the country's economic progress. Noting that modern industry requires competitive human capital, the rector highlighted the importance of cooperation between universities and the private sector in the training of highly qualified specialists.
