The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population awarded "Araz" supermarket chain
"Araz" supermarket chain, which is part of the Veysaloglu Group of Companies, was awarded by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population in 2 nominations.
In the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, an award ceremony was held for social partners who actively participated in corporate social responsibility events aimed at supporting vulnerable groups. At the ceremony, "Araz" was awarded the first place in the nominations "The most active private social partner supporting the employment of women" and "The most active private social partner supporting the employment of persons with no employment history" for the projects implemented within the framework of corporate social responsibility in 2023.
The company was awarded second in 5 nominations - "The most active private social partner supporting the provision of employment for young people (under 20 years of age)", "The most active private social partner supporting the provision of employment for persons with disabilities", "The most active social partner who recruits the most through the "Labor and employment" subsystem", "The private social partner that places the most vacancies in "Labor and employment" subsystem" and "The most active private social partner that supports the employment of persons who have been registered as unemployed for more than 1 year in the employment agency".
At the awarding ceremony, "Araz" supermarket chain was also awarded with a "Thank you letter" by the State Employment Agency for its active participation in the "Support to Employment" Corporate Social Responsibility project implemented in 2023.
It should be noted that "Araz" supermarket chain employed 3698 women last year. Also, 4,229 people with no employment history started working in "Araz".
