The "Green Life Ambassadors" project has been launched

With the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and as part of the grant competition "Youth Organizations and Initiatives in the Fields of Development, Innovation, and Social Activity for Youth," the project "Green Life Ambassadors: Ilisu-Sarybash Environmental Educational and Camp Program" has been launched.

In order to increase the environmental knowledge of youth of Gakh region, promote a responsible attitude towards nature and support active participation in the protection of local territories, the implementation of the project “Green Life Ambassadors: Ilisu-Sarybash Environmental Educational and Camp Program” has been launched. The project, covering the period from October to December 2026, is being implemented in the villages of Ilisu and Sarybash. The project aims to raise awareness among young people about environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, the consequences of climate change and the application of environmental habits in everyday life. The program will include interactive trainings, group discussions, environmental games and practical activities. Participants will develop knowledge and skills on topics such as waste reduction and sorting, water and energy conservation, reuse and the role of youth in protecting nature.

One of the important directions of the project is conducting an environmental campaign and practical action for environmental protection in the village of Sarybash. Through these activities, it is planned to strengthen the participants' skills in observing nature, identifying environmental problems in the area, participating in waste collection and sorting, and teamwork. The "Green Life Ambassadors" project aims not only to educate young people on environmental issues, but also to turn young people into active participants who make positive changes in the areas where they live. Project participants are expected to promote environmentally responsible behavior in their daily lives and to involve others in these initiatives.

The project is being implemented under the leadership of Salam Ibragimov and will continue until December 1, 2026.
