AccessBank, which has been contributing to the sustainable development of entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan for many years, is proud to announce the successful completion of “Access2Success” project, implemented for the fourth time within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. This initiative, implemented with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), is aimed at strengthening women’s entrepreneurship in the country and revealing their business potential.
The project has also attracted great interest this year – more than 300 applications for participation were received. 50 women entrepreneurs who successfully passed the selection stage successfully completed the program, developing their knowledge and skills in business management, sales and marketing, leadership and emotional management, legal aspects of successful business, as well as financial literacy. The trainings were conducted by AccessBank’s professional specialists and experts with extensive experience in their fields.
“Supporting the formation of sustainable entrepreneurial models is one of the main priorities for AccessBank. Through the “Access2Success” program, we strengthen the knowledge and skills of women entrepreneurs, creating conditions for them to develop their businesses more confidently and sustainably. We would like to thank the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for this valuable cooperation. As AccessBank, we are determined to continue this initiative consistently and on a large scale in the coming years,” said Davit Tsiklauri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AccessBank, emphasizing the importance of the project.
“One of the main priorities of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Azerbaijan is to support the development of non-oil sector, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. The “Access2Success” initiative, which we are implementing together with our strategic partner AccessBank, is one of the exemplary projects that makes a real contribution to the sustainable development of women's entrepreneurship. The EBRD will continue to support such initiatives with social and economic impact in the future,” said Samir Hamidov, General Manager of the Business Advice Program for Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the “Access2Success” project was first implemented in 2022 and covers approximately 50 women entrepreneurs each year. So far, more than 200 women entrepreneurs have participated in the program. Participants operating in consulting, tourism, education, healthcare, creativity, culture and other fields have gained both theoretical and practical knowledge within the framework of six-week intensive trainings, forming a solid foundation for the development of their businesses.
