Another tree-planting campaign has been held on the initiative of "Global Media Group"
"Global Media Group" carried out its traditional tree-planting campaign with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
Organized under the slogan "A Green Future Takes Root Together," the event took place in the settlement of Mushfigabad, located in the Garadagh district.
Volunteers—comprising employees from the media outlets and companies within the group, as well as students from the Baku European Lyceum—planted olive and pine saplings, taking into account the local terrain and climatic conditions, and provided the necessary agrotechnical care for the young trees.
The objective of the campaign is to contribute to environmental protection, maintenance of ecological balance, and promotion of environmental responsibility within society.
As a participant in the UN Global Compact, "Global Media Group" places a special emphasis on environmental projects and nature conservation as part of its corporate social responsibility policy. The group consistently pursues initiatives aimed at creating a healthier and greener environment for future generations. Laura Seyidbeyova, Head of the Marketing and Communications Department at "Global Media Group," stated to journalists that companies within the group and volunteers from the Baku European Lyceum joined forces to plant trees during the event held in the settlement of Mushfigabad.
"Through this project, which has now become a tradition, we demonstrate our support for environmental protection and ecological balance. We believe that such initiatives also help foster a greater sense of ecological responsibility within our society. As 'Global Media Group,' we will continue our efforts to protect our natural environment and make our country even greener," the company representative said.
