A startup supported by PASHA Holding begins a partnership with Referans Medical Group

“iCheck,” a startup developed within the framework of PASHA Holding’s internal “WeStart” program, has achieved a significant milestone in Azerbaijan’s HealthTech ecosystem by entering into a strategic partnership with “Referans Medical Group,” one of the country’s leading medical networks.

The “WeStart” program at PASHA Holding, which aims to foster innovative ideas and support new business initiatives, enables employees to transform their concepts into tangible projects. The partnership established by “iCheck”—a venture supported through this program—serves as a prime example of how innovative ideas can be developed and converted into real-world business outcomes.

“iCheck,” a digital healthcare platform that stands out in Azerbaijan’s telehealth sector for its innovative model, is entering a new phase of development. Having launched as a startup and rapidly gained international recognition, the project will now continue its operations through a strategic partnership with “Referans Medical Group,” one of the country’s most prominent and extensive medical networks. The primary objective of this partnership is to combine the advanced technological capabilities of “iCheck” with the extensive medical infrastructure and professional network of physicians at “Referans Medical Group,” thereby creating a more accessible, seamless, and continuous digital health experience for patients.

Having evolved from a local startup into an international “HealthTech” venture, “iCheck” was founded on the principle that access to quality medical care should not depend on an individual’s geographical location. The platform enables users to connect with doctors remotely from anywhere in the world and receive online consultations. Currently, these services are actively utilized not only by individual patients but also by clients of insurance companies and corporate users.

The collaboration with “Referans Medical Group” will propel “iCheck”’s transformation from a simple online consultation application into a comprehensive digital health platform with a wide range of functionalities. The core goal is to ensure that the entire process—from finding the right doctor to conducting consultations, undergoing necessary examinations, accessing medical services, and managing follow-up steps—is organized in a complete and convenient manner within a unified system. “We do not view ‘iCheck’ merely as an application that offers online medical consultations. We want ‘iCheck’ to be the first platform that comes to mind whenever someone has a question regarding their health—whether it concerns physical or mental well-being. At the same time, our goal is to encourage people to take an interest in their health not only when they are ill, but also when they are healthy,” stated Leyla Orucova, the founder of ‘iCheck’.
