Rabitabank continues to support the development of entrepreneurship in the regions within the framework of its “Financial Literacy” project

The “Regional Business Development and Digitalization Summit – Regional Expo: Quba 2026” was held in Quba. The event brought together representatives of the public and private sectors, entrepreneurs, investors, and experts from various fields with the aim of supporting entrepreneurship in the regions, expanding digital transformation opportunities, strengthening the business environment, and encouraging new partnerships.
The summit was jointly organized by MUSIAD, Techera, and QİAD, with the support of the Quba Region Executive Authority and the gold sponsorship of Rabitabank.
More than 130 companies and organizations operating in Quba and neighboring regions participated in the exhibition, which showcased the region’s business and entrepreneurial potential. Participants representing agriculture, industry, tourism, innovation, and service sectors presented their products and services to visitors. Around 10,000 people attended the exhibition throughout the day, demonstrating strong interest in expanding business relations, establishing new partnerships, and developing the entrepreneurial environment in the region.
During the official opening ceremony, representatives of government institutions, members of parliament, international organizations, and business leaders delivered speeches on topics such as regional entrepreneurship development, expanding investment opportunities, strengthening public-private partnerships, and creating an innovative business environment. The speakers particularly emphasized the prospects for economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, increasing employment opportunities, professional workforce development, university-industry cooperation, and the impact of digital transformation on the regional business ecosystem. Participants noted that such platforms are highly important for establishing new partnerships in the regions and ensuring sustainable economic development.
Within the framework of the summit, Orhan Gültekin, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Rabitabank, delivered a speech about financing entrepreneurship, increasing access to business loans, and the role of the banking sector in supporting economic activity in the regions. He stated that expanding financial solutions that contribute to the development of the real sector and support the sustainable growth of entrepreneurs has been identified as one of the bank’s priority areas.
Later, as the event’s gold sponsor, Rabitabank organized a special meeting with entrepreneurs, during which views were exchanged and opportunities for new cooperation and business expansion in the regions were discussed. The event also featured discussions on the importance of awareness initiatives carried out by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan to improve financial literacy in the country, the accessibility of business loans offered by the banking sector, secure and sustainable financial resources, Islamic banking products, and innovative banking solutions. Questions from summit participants regarding banking services and financial instruments were also answered.
It should be noted that such meetings and educational initiatives serve to improve financial accessibility and knowledge among entrepreneurs operating in the regions. Strengthening entrepreneurs’ financial literacy, developing proper skills in using digital financial tools, and promoting sustainable business management play an important role in economic development. The “Regional Expo: Quba 2026” summit also stood out as an important platform contributing to the region’s economic growth with its broad range of participants from agriculture, tourism, innovation, services, and manufacturing sectors.
