McDonald's Azerbaijan supports children of martyrs and veterans participating in the Olympiads

McDonald's Azerbaijan, in cooperation with the State Social Protection Fund, supported the participation of 58 children of martyrs and war participants in TIMO (Turkic International Mathematical Olympiad) and IMEC (International Math and English Competition) international olympiads.

According to the results of the competitions, 14 schoolchildren took worthy places. The winner of TIMO Olympiad will go to Antalya, and the winner of the IMEC Olympiad will go to Australia - both winners will represent Azerbaijan in the final stage of the respective olympiads. All expenses of the participants - flight, accommodation, participation in events and recreation - were covered by McDonald's Azerbaijan. A summer camp will be organized at the Sea Breeze recreation center for the participants who took second and third places in IMEC.

A solemn event was held in one of the restaurants of McDonald's Azerbaijan chain to celebrate the winners' achievements. Company representatives congratulated the children on their success, wished them further victories, and awarded them with gifts.

This initiative is implemented within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed between McDonald's Azerbaijan and the State Social Protection Fund. The signed document defines the framework of a long-term partnership in which social projects aimed at supporting the children of martyrs and participants of the 44-day Patriotic War are implemented. A number of projects have already been successfully implemented within the framework of the partnership: educational initiatives, including the participation of schoolchildren in international olympiads, provision of school supplies, organization of summer camps, and festive events in McDonald's restaurants.

McDonald's Azerbaijan continues to implement corporate social responsibility programs, creating opportunities for education, development, and a confident future for the next generation.
