Rector Yagub Piriyev said that the education, employment, career advancement and social welfare of young people constitute a priority direction of state policy in our country, and state programs approved by President Ilham Aliyev for this purpose are being successfully implemented. The main goal of the festival is to further strengthen relations between entrepreneurs and higher education institutions, support youth employment, and create an opportunity for them to learn the current conditions and requirements of the labor market against the backdrop of the new industrial revolution, the rector said, calling the event a great opportunity for young people in this regard. At the same time, he drew attention to the demands placed on young people by the rapid development of science and technology in modern times and the responsibilities of universities in these matters. In his speech, the rector also emphasized the systematic activities of the university and important steps taken by it to ensure the successful integration of BEU students and graduates into the labor market and their professional development. Expressing his gratitude to the companies represented at the event, Yagub Piriyev expressed his confidence that the festival will create new bridges in the labor market and will be a successful start for the working life of young people.

Touching on a number of statistical figures related to the labor market, the agency official noted that labor fairs are also organized in our liberated regions, and attention is paid to solving the employment problems of young people returning here.
