Baku to host International Inclusive Employment Conference
Baku will host the International Inclusive Employment Conference (IIEC) on October 15–16, 2026, bringing together leading experts, government agencies, international organizations, private sector representatives, academics and civil society institutions.
The conference will be one of Azerbaijan's largest international platforms focused on promoting the integration of people with autism and other disabilities into the labor market.
The event aims to encourage the adoption of international best practices in inclusive employment in Azerbaijan, strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors, increase employers' awareness of accessible and inclusive working environments, and expand sustainable employment opportunities for people with autism and other disabilities.
Experts from the United States, Ireland, France, Türkiye and other countries are expected to participate in the event. Representatives of Azerbaijan's leading government agencies and private sector organizations will also present their initiatives and successful practices in inclusive employment.
Approximately 200 local and international participants are expected to attend the conference.
The event is organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Public Health and Reforms Center, the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Regional Development Public Union, and the “Birgə və Sağlam” (Together and Healthy) Public Union.
AzerGold CJSC is the conference's main sponsor, while BP Azerbaijan, AZAL and Air Arabia are sponsors. The event is being held with the support of the State Employment Agency, the State Agency for Vocational Education, SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations and other partner organizations.
The International Inclusive Employment Conference is expected to contribute to the development of Azerbaijan's inclusive employment ecosystem, strengthen international partnerships and promote equal employment opportunities for all.
