"Baku Investment Day 2025" was successfully held in partnership with "Xırdalan 0.0"

Baku Investment Day 2025, one of the leading startup and innovation platforms in Azerbaijan, was held this year with the general partnership of Xırdalan 0.0.

The event served as an important cooperation and partnership platform that brought together investors, innovators and startups from the Caucasus, Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa regions. Baku Investment Day is of strategic importance for economic and innovative development in the region, promoting not only technological advances, but also the spirit of entrepreneurship.

Xırdalan 0.0, one of the main partners of the event, once again demonstrated its support for innovative initiatives by emphasizing the importance of local production and sustainable technologies. Anton Panasenko, Marketing Director of Carlsberg Azerbaijan, spoke at the event and provided information about Xırdalan 0.0. He noted that this product is made entirely from local barley and is the first completely non-alcoholic beer produced in the country.

Xırdalan 0.0 is a non-alcoholic lager beer, 100% produced in Azerbaijan, prepared with high technologies, with a rich aroma and taste balance. The quality and technological superiority of the product are based on the successes of the Carlsberg Research Laboratory, which has been operating since 1875 and has made global innovations in the field of brewing.

Shortly before the “Baku Investment Day” event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Economy and “Carlsberg Azerbaijan” company covering the years 2025–2030. The implementation of the document will contribute to the localization of raw materials and packaging materials, ensuring full local production, and protecting the environment.

It should be noted that the “Baku Investment Day”, which has been held annually since 2022, has so far attracted investments in the amount of 1.5 million US dollars. The event was supported by about 100 partners and sponsors, and more than 275 startups participated.

The Carlsberg Azerbaijan brewery is located in the city of Khirdalan, 10 kilometers from the capital of Azerbaijan. Production capacity of the brewery is 8 million decaliters per year. The company employs about 250 people and has created more than 3,000 jobs in related areas (suppliers, retail, hotel and restaurant sectors). The total amount of investments made by the company in the development of brewery is about 75 million manat. The company's portfolio includes such famous brands as "Xırdalan", "Carlsberg", "Tuborg", "Kronenbourg Blanc 1664", "Afsana".
