"Azercell" is a partner of the International Interuniversity Programming Competition

Azerbaijan's leading mobile operator Azercell is the official telecommunications partner of the 49th International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) World Final.
The competition will be held in Baku from August 31 to September 5, 2025, organized by the ICPC Foundation and hosted by ADA University, in partnership with the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in cooperation with the Innovation and Digital Development Agency and the ICPC Azerbaijan community, and with the support of PASHA Holding.
About 140 university teams representing more than 50 countries will participate in the world final. Within the framework of the five-day competition, young programmers will demonstrate their problem-solving, teamwork and programming skills.
As part of the partnership, Azercell will provide uninterrupted telecommunications services for competition participants and guests. The company's fast, reliable and stable communication solutions will support the effective and efficient implementation of communication processes by ensuring uninterrupted connectivity throughout the event.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani students have been participating in the regional rounds of ICPC since 2005. In 2024, ADA University students qualified for the World Finals in Luxor, Egypt, becoming the first Azerbaijani team to achieve this achievement. This year, our country will be represented by teams from ADA University and Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).
Azercell continues to support such prestigious international projects aimed at developing the digital ecosystem in the country, improving the skills of young people in the IT and ICT fields, and strengthening Azerbaijan's global technological position.
