Awards were presented to social partners actively participating in corporate social responsibility events

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population held an awarding ceremony for social partners selected for their active participation in corporate social responsibility events in 2023.

At the event held at DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center under the ministry, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) Orkhan Mammadov, Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman) Sabina Aliyeva, President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurial Organizations of Azerbaijan Mammad Musayev, Executive Director of Media Development Agency Ahmed Ismayilov, Chairman of "Azerishiq" OJSC Vugar Ahmadov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women's and Children's Affairs Sadagat Kahramanova,  Deputy Chairman of the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Javanshir Alkhasov, Deputy Chief of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice Ogtay Mammadov, MPs Malahat Ibrahimgizi, Arzu Nagiyev, Vugar Iskanderov, Fatma Yildirim, representatives of other governmental and non-governmental organizations and employers participated.

Speaking at the event, S. Babayev drew attention to the successive social reforms and social achievements achieved in the direction of strengthening the social protection of the population, covering vulnerable groups with care based on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev. The minister noted that the active employment programs, including the self-employment program, are expanding year by year, and the work done in the field of employment provision.

In the implementation of employment programs, support of social partners in the field of ensuring the employment of vulnerable groups, the work carried out jointly with companies belonging to the private sector in this field were brought to attention. In addition, it was emphasized that there is an experience of active cooperation with social partners in supporting the employment of members of families of martyrs and war participants.

Other speakers highly valued the active participation of the private sector in support programs aimed at vulnerable groups, as social partners in solving their employment issues.

It should be noted that since 2022, social partners who actively participate in corporate social responsibility events are awarded annually by the Ministry.
