Another social project of "AzerGold" CJSC was successfully implemented

Within the framework of the project "Support for the economic development of the families of martyrs and war wounded" organized by "AzerGold" CJSC, 2-month intensive trainings on the profession of confectioner have been completed.
On June 30, a ceremony was held to award the participants who successfully completed the vocational training program with certificates of "Recognition of Non-Formal and Informal Education" of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education under the Ministry of Science and Education.
The event organized in Ganja was attended by Khayyam Farzaliyev, Deputy Chairman and memeber of the Board of Directors of AzerGold CJSC and Chairman of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, Adil Taghiyev, Deputy Head of the Ganja City Executive Power, Vugar Mammadov, Deputy Head of Dashkasan Region Executive Power, Arzu Gojayev, Deputy Head of Goygol Region Executive Power, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, New Azerbaijan Party, "Honey Cake Studio" culinary arts school, and other public representatives.
The event began with a tasting of confectionery products prepared by 15 housewives from Ganja city, Dashkasan, Goygol and Samukh regions, who participated in the vocational training program and belong to the vulnerable population group. Participants of the event tasted the sweets presented with great satisfaction and highly appreciated their quality.
In the official part of the event, it was stated that the project, which serves to provide comprehensive attention and care to family members of martyrs and war wounded, aims to make an additional contribution to the consistent and thoughtful policy pursued by our state in this direction, to strengthen the social protection of our citizens belonging to vulnerable categories, and to support their economic independence and social activity. It was stated that other partners of the project have begun to implement appropriate support measures to involve women who participated in the vocational training program in labor activities in the profession of confectioner.
At the event, as a result of the training program, certificates were presented to those who successfully participated in the “Recognition of Non-Formal and Informal Education” exam of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, enabling them to engage in professional activities.
It should be noted that members of families of martyrs and war participants have been identified as one of the main target categories within the corporate social responsibility projects of “AzerGold” CJSC, and projects aimed at improving their social well-being are being implemented. These projects include training in various areas, support for entrepreneurial activity, financial assistance, health campaigns, permanent employment and other social programs.
