"Angel Investor School" to be organized in a new format in Baku

The “Angel Investor School”, which has made a significant contribution to development of angel investing in the country, will be organized this year not online, but in an expanded offline format, for the first time.
In 2024, the project, which trained more than 200 potential investors and provided them with membership in SABAH Angels Club, also created conditions for directing hundreds of thousands of dollars in investment to startups through syndicates. This time, the school will be held in a more large-scale and interactive format.
Within the framework of the program, which will take place in Baku on November 4-6, 2025, international experts invited from the United States and local specialists will share their experience with participants and provide practical knowledge. Sessions within the program will be held in English.
The main goal of the “Angel Investor School” is to develop the theoretical and practical skills of angel investors in the country. Training participants will gain valuable knowledge on forming a portfolio of startups, making the right choices, and achieving successful results.
The project is organized by Technovate, supported by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency and SABAH Angels Club. This year, the main sponsor of the school is Visa, and the sponsor is Azercell.
In addition, a draw will be held among the participants who invest in startups within 6 months after completing the training. 5 of the winners will receive a free trip to Silicon Valley in 2026.
