Youth Foundation announces grant competition

The Youth Foundation announces a grant competition for youth organizations and youth on development, innovation and social initiatives.

According to the press service of the Foundation, the purpose of the competition is to develop the potential of youth and youth organizations in accordance with the priorities of the state youth policy, promote their active participation in the social, economic, cultural and public life of society, support innovative and socially beneficial initiatives, as well as contribute to the formation of young people as patriotic, creative and socially responsible individuals committed to national and spiritual values.

According to the terms of the competition, youth organizations and young people aged 18-29 who are citizens of Azerbaijan can submit project proposals from May 22 to June 22. Project applications are accepted electronically only through the e-services system of the official website of the Foundation.

The projects submitted to the competition cover seven different areas: national identity, patriotism and value-based development, youth development and strengthening human capital, social inclusion and promotion of equal opportunities, digital future, innovation and artificial intelligence, creative industries and cultural innovations, youth participation and social activism in the regions, sustainable development and environmental responsibility.

During the application, a project description, cost estimate and preliminary action plan must be prepared and uploaded to the system. Each applicant has the right to submit only one project.

The implementation period of the projects must be determined on the condition that it is not less than 3 months and not more than 12 months. The application amount for individual projects of individuals should not exceed 5 thousand manats, the application amount for local projects of youth organizations should not exceed 10 thousand manats, and for international projects should not exceed 15 thousand manats.

Projects that are fully funded by other institutions, are in progress or have been completed cannot be additionally or re-financed by the Foundation.

When selecting projects, priority will be given to criteria such as innovation and unique approach, sustainability, feasibility within the proposed timeframe and budget, and compatibility with modern technological solutions and innovative approaches.
