Xalq Bank organized a tree planting campaign
Xalq Bank continues to implement projects aimed at protecting the environment in the direction of corporate social responsibility. On November 28, a tree-planting action was held in Mushfiqabad settlement of Baku, organized by Xalq Bank and supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. This initiative was carried out in accordance with the obligations of the Bank in the field of social responsibility and environmental sustainability under the Development Strategy for 2024-2026.
The purpose of the action is to contribute to the protection of the ecosystem, to promote a responsible approach to nature and to participate in ensuring a green and healthy environment for future generations. The management staff and employees of the Bank, who participated in the action, supported this environmental initiative by planting Eldar pine and olive tree seedlings.
It should be noted that Xalq Bank actively participated in the tree planting actions held in the country in previous years and contributed to the protection of the environment and the establishment of a green future. It also supported the planting of 25,000 trees to restore areas destroyed by forest fires in Turkey in 2022, and "Xalq Bank Brotherhood Memorial Forest" with a total area of 16 hectares was established in Mersin.
