With the support of PASHA Bank, another project focused on greening and supporting young entrepreneurs has been implemented in the country

With the support of PASHA Bank and in cooperation with the Regional Development Public Union (RİİB), 400 Paulownia trees were planted this October in the settlement of Asgaran, in the Khojaly district.
This initiative was carried out as part of the "CrownPod" project, developed by the Enactus team at Karabakh University within the framework of the international Enactus program. In addition to promoting environmental sustainability, the project aims to foster an innovative mindset and social entrepreneurship skills among young people.
The tree-planting event involved employees from PASHA Bank, volunteers from the RİİB, and members of the Enactus team from Karabakh University. Serving as an example of successful collaboration between the academic sector, the private sector, and civil society, this initiative contributes to expanding green spaces in the Karabakh region, restoring the ecological environment, and putting the innovative ideas of young people into practice.
The Enactus program is a global platform that encourages university students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and create innovative solutions to social and environmental challenges. Within the framework of the program, students apply business approaches in a practical setting to develop products and solutions that benefit society and the environment.
Supporting greening initiatives further demonstrates PASHA Bank’s commitment to the principles of sustainable development and social responsibility, in its capacity as a participant in the UN Global Compact. Such initiatives not only contribute to the country’s green transformation goals but also help foster a healthier and more sustainable ecosystem for future generations.
It should be noted that mitigating the impacts of climate change has been identified as a key priority within PASHA Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy for 2024–2026. In addition to supporting various tree-planting and nature restoration initiatives, the bank is continuously expanding its green financing mechanisms and solutions.
