Employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources have donated blood
A blood donation drive was organized at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (ETSN) in support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s "For a Life Without Thalassemia" (“Talassemiyasız həyat naminə”) program.
This was reported by the Ministry’s press service.
It was noted that employees of the Ministry participated in the initiative—aimed at assisting in the treatment of individuals suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia, and other blood disorders—by voluntarily donating blood.
The drive was conducted by a specialized medical team from the Republican Blood Bank. Before donating, the donors' health status was assessed by hematologists, and blood was collected following these examinations.
It should be noted that the collected blood will be used for patients in need.
