Intensive trainings on the profession of confectioner are being continued by “AzerGold” CJSC within the framework of the “Support for the economic development of family members of martyrs and war wounded” project.
The vocational training program, which is attended by 15 women from Ganja city, Dashkasan, Goygol and Samukh regions, belonging to the aforementioned vulnerable population group, aims to provide care to family members of martyrs and war wounded, increase their social activity and support their economic independence.
It should be noted that, within the framework of the project, theoretical and practical trainings are conducted by international confectioner experts. During the intensive trainings, which will last for two months, participants will be provided with all necessary materials and equipment, and knowledge and skills in the relevant professional field are imparted to the participants.
After the completion of the training programs, the participants will take the “Recognition of Non-Formal and Informal Education” exam of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and obtain the relevant professional certificate.
Also, as a result of the project, support will be provided to the trainees in providing them with jobs in the relevant field or organizing individual entrepreneurial activities through partner companies involved in the training programs.
It should be noted that vulnerable population groups have been identified as one of the main target categories in the corporate social responsibility activities of “AzerGold” CJSC. Socially oriented projects implemented consistently and systematically by the Joint Stock Company aim to make an additional contribution to the state’s policy towards covering local communities, including vulnerable population groups, with comprehensive attention and care.
