"TuranBank" together with DOST Agency made the children of martyrs happy

Always actively participating in initiatives for the social protection and meeting the needs of the family members of our martyrs and veterans, TuranBank, adhering to this tradition, has signed another successful project on the occasion of June 1 - International Children's Day.

Thus, the bank provided financial support for the organization of a visit of children of martyrs to Ismayilli region and Shamakhi city within the framework of the “Miras - İrsimizi Yaşadaq” (“Miras – Let us preserve our heritage”) project, organized by the “Könüllü DOST” (“Voluntary DOST”) program of the DOST Agency. The main goal of the project is to keep the children of our martyrs in the spotlight and ensure their social care, as well as to familiarize them with the rich cultural, historical and spiritual heritage of Azerbaijan, and to contribute to strengthening their sense of national identity and belonging.

The participants first visited the Ismayilli “DOST Evi” branch and participated in master classes on painting, artistic carving and carpet weaving. Later, a master class on the art of kelagayi was held for children in the Basgal State Historical and Cultural Reserve. At the same time, the project participants visited the historical and cultural sites of the region and had the opportunity to get acquainted with examples reflecting our national and spiritual values.

Participants who successfully completed the master classes were presented with a special motivational “Heritage Passport”.

An infotour to the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory was also organized within the framework of the project. Here, the children of martyrs were given detailed information about astronomy, space research and the activities of the observatory. At the end, the children were presented with various holiday gifts.

It should be noted that, within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility program, TuranBank consistently focuses on supporting vulnerable groups in society and providing them with assistance. The bank will continue to implement support initiatives for the family members of Azerbaijan’s martyrs, including children—the future of the nation—with the aim of bringing joy and smiles to their lives.
