TuranBank, adhering to the principles of socially responsible banking, has started cooperation with the "Üçüncü Bahar" Public Union in order to effectively organize the leisure time of the elderly population, improve their quality of life and ensure their social well-being.
Within the framework of cooperation, the bank will support the activities of Icherisheher "YAŞA" Center operating under the Public Union and strengthen its infrastructure.
It should be noted that the main goal of the "Üçüncü Bahar" Public Union is to bring together elderly people and ensure their effective use of their leisure time, and to encourage their active participation in the socio-economic, political and cultural life of the country. For this purpose, a series of relevant training and educational programs are implemented in the "YAŞA" Centers, expanding educational and employment opportunities of the elderly. The centers provide participants with training in financial literacy, foreign languages, computers, assembly, drawing and stained glass, as well as a wide range of activities, including sports, dance, creative clubs and a personal library.
Within the framework of the Corporate Social Responsibility program TuranBank constantly focuses on vulnerable population groups, implements active projects aimed at social protection of martyrs' families and veterans, as well as environmental protection. This cooperation is a continuation of the bank's mission to care for all segments of society.
Established in 2017, the "Üçüncü Bahar" Public Union works to improve the social well-being of older generation in the country, effectively organize their leisure time and create an active aging environment by ensuring their integration into society. The organization's main strategic priorities include education, creativity, health, as well as social entrepreneurship.
Over 9 years of its operation, more than 45,000 beneficiaries have been involved in services through the association's 4 centers located in different regions. Currently, "YAŞA" Centers operating in Baku serve an average of 350-400 people per week, and regional centers serve 70-80 people. It should be noted that all services provided at "YAŞA" Centers are provided on a free basis for the elderly.
