Trendyol continues to support the development of the country's first inclusive cafe "Kashalata"

Turkiye's leading e-commerce platform and one of the world's largest e-commerce platforms, Trendyol, continues to promote inclusion in Azerbaijan and support the employment of people with disabilities within the framework of its social impact projects. The company promotes the social integration of neurodiverse youth into society by providing continuous support to Baku's first and only inclusive cafe, "Kashalata".

The cafe "Kashalata" was founded two years ago by "Birgə və Sağlam" Public Union and is continuously supported by Trendyol, as well as the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, KOBİA, SOCAR and PASHA Holding.

Trendyol joined the initiative, held in conjunction with the "DOST" Inclusive Development and Creativity Center and "Birgə və Sağlam" Public Union, within the framework of "Kashalata" cafe support program, to promote social inclusion in the cafe, expand job opportunities for people with disabilities, as well as support the well-being and education of parents.

As part of the event, an educational training on "Stress Management and Resilience Strategies" was held. During the training, employees of the Disability Policy Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and Department of Social-Pedagogical Development and Socio-Psychological Support of the "DOST" Inclusive Development and Creativity Center answered parents' questions and participated in discussions.

In the artistic part of the event, a concert program was presented by members of the "DOST" Inclusive Development and Creativity Center and "Birgə və Sağlam" Public Union.

Currently, 20 young people work at "Kashalata" cafe located at 57 Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street. Some of them have autism spectrum disorders and other neurodiversity characteristics. This place, which operates with the main business partnership of Trendyol and PASHA Holding, is considered one of the successful examples of inclusive employment in the country.
