Tree-planting campaign held at initiative of Global Media Group

In a meaningful effort to promote environmental awareness and sustainable development, Global Media Group has launched another tree planting initiative — this time in the Mushfigabad settlement of the Garadagh district.
The event brought together member companies of Global Media Group and was carried out in collaboration with Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
More than 500 trees of various species, carefully selected to suit the local climate, were planted during the campaign. The event saw active participation from both the leadership and employees of Global Media Group.
This initiative aims to promote ecological balance, contribute to the greening of the environment, and safeguard natural resources.
"Global Media Group is proud to participate in projects aimed at improving the country’s environmental landscape. This tree planting drive, rooted in the principles of sustainability, reflects our ongoing commitment to protecting nature and fostering environmental harmony. Through such efforts, we not only raise ecological awareness but also help build a healthier, greener world for future generations,” said Rovshan Nizamov, a board member of Global Media Group.
Marketing Director Laura Seyidbayova added that the campaign, held under the slogan “Rooting a Greener Future Together,” exemplifies the power of collaboration between the Ministry of Ecology and the member companies of Global Media Group.
She also emphasized that “sustainable environmental education” is a core pillar of Global Media Group’s corporate social responsibility strategy. “We seek to achieve long-term impact by working hand-in-hand with different organizations,” she noted.
The sustainable development policy is a key component of the corporate social responsibility strategy of Global Media Group, a member of the UN Global Compact. The company also strives to successfully implement environmental protection projects and increase the level of environmental education, aiming to achieve sustainable results.
