The winner of the "EY Entrepreneur of the Year Competition" held with the support of IBA has been chosen!

The winner of the “EY Entrepreneur of the Year Competition” organized by EY Azerbaijan with the main sponsorship of IBA (International Bank of Azerbaijan) and the financial partnership of bp has been selected.

This year’s winners of the competition were Ilyas Ahmadov and Mehri Ahmadova, founders of “Berry Blues by We Grow”. They were selected from 19 finalists. The winners will represent Azerbaijan in Monaco - at the international stage of the competition.

The jury members also determined the winners in special nominations: Orkhan Mammadov (Green Life Engineering) in the “Energy Transition Solutions” nomination; Rufat Babakishiyev (Crocusoft) in the “Best Customer Solution” nomination; Samir Karimov (APAR) in the “Contribution to the Environment” nomination; Ulvi Aslanov (Code Academy) in the “Innovation” nomination; Mushfig Huseynov (AZSAFFRON) in the “Development in Agriculture” nomination; Gunay Mustafayeva (MedLife Hospital) in the “Women’s Entrepreneurship” nomination; Bakhtiyar Huseynov (Eel Electric) in the “Regional Development” nomination.

“EY Entrepreneur of the Year Competition” has been held in our country for 7 years, and IBA has been supporting this competition for the 7th consecutive year. “EY Entrepreneur of the Year Competition” is a prestigious, unique program that brings together entrepreneurs with an innovative mindset, a will to succeed, and a positive impact on society. Over the past 7 years, this competition has grown into a large community in Azerbaijan, uniting more than 90 entrepreneurs.

The program’s partners include APFM, “Finansist” magazine, and Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan - AZPROMO.
