The VI Autism Festival took place with the support of Expressbank

“Expressbank” OJSC has undertaken another social initiative.
The bank demonstrated its support for an inclusive society by acting as a sponsor at the 6th Autism Festival, organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Turkic States Autism Federation, and the Azerbaijan Autism Association.
The main goal of the festival was to support the integration of individuals on the autism spectrum into society and to increase public awareness.
Throughout the event, various handicrafts created by children and young people on the autism spectrum were exhibited, and a range of activities highlighting their creativity and skills were carried out. The festival, which attracted great interest from city residents and guests, focused on raising awareness about autism through diverse and engaging programs.
By joining this initiative, which promotes a more compassionate and caring environment while supporting the equal and active participation of every individual in society, “Expressbank” has reinforced its ongoing commitment to social responsibility with another meaningful step. The bank views support for such projects not only as an act of goodwill but also as laying the foundation for a more equal and inclusive environment to be passed on to future generations.
It should be noted that, at the initiative of “Expressbank,” a training session titled “Ethics of Interaction with Individuals with Autism” was held for the bank’s employees in April as part of Autism Awareness Month, with the support of specialists from the Azerbaijan Autism Association. Through this step, the bank emphasizes that contributing to the development of an inclusive society and promoting a more sensitive approach toward individuals on the autism spectrum begins from within the organization itself.
