The “Summer Adventure” (“Yay macərası”) children’s camp has been launched by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHİK)
The Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation has launched the “Summer Adventure” children’s camp for the children of trade union members at the Samad Vurgun Health and Recreation Center.
The purpose of organizing the camp is to ensure an effective and meaningful summer holiday for schoolchildren, support their physical, intellectual, creative, and social development, promote a healthy lifestyle, improve teamwork and communication skills, and instill values such as patriotism and solidarity.
Speaking at the event held to mark the opening of the camp, Deputy Chairman of the Confederation Gazanfar Abdullayev highlighted the attention and care shown to children by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and spoke about projects implemented on the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva aimed at improving children’s educational and healthcare opportunities. The Deputy Chairman also provided information about AHİK’s social projects aimed at supporting children’s development.
Project manager Aliya Gafurova stated in her speech that the “Summer Adventure” camp would contribute to children’s healthy and meaningful recreation, the improvement of their knowledge and skills, and the opportunity to make new friends.
It should be noted that a rich program aimed at the physical and intellectual development of children will be implemented during the camp. The program will include sports competitions, intellectual games, educational meetings, entertaining team activities, and other engaging events.
