The sixth week of the "YAŞAT" camp has ended
The sixth week of the 5th “YAŞAT” camp, jointly organized by the “YAŞAT” Foundation and the “ASAN Volunteers” Organization, in partnership with “TABİA Group” and “Lankaran Springs Wellness Resort” Hotel, was remembered for its rich and educational programs for the participants.
According to the Public Relations Department of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the camp, which was attended by 53 children of martyrs aged 12–13, began each morning with physical exercises promoting a healthy lifestyle. The children of martyrs participated in group therapy with psychologists and developed their creative skills in master classes organized by “ABAD”.
During the week, the participants met with wildlife photographer Saleh Bakhshiyev. During the meeting, the photographer shared information with the participants about the wildlife of Azerbaijan, survival skills in nature, orientation, behavioral characteristics of wild animals, and safety rules in nature.
He also spoke to the children about the importance of loving and protecting nature and answered their questions.
At the meeting with the canine specialists of the State Customs Committee, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the canine service and answer their questions.
During the camp, the children performed sports standards on sports facilities located around a mobile sports car within the framework of the “Healthy Life” program organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
In the financial literacy training organized by “Rabitabank”, the participants gained practical knowledge on personal budget planning, saving habits and financial responsibility.
The parkour lesson and various entertainment programs contributed to increasing the physical activity of the participants, strengthening team spirit and effectively organizing their leisure time.
Organizational support of ASAN Radio/TV and the concert program with the participation of famous singers - Sevda Yahyayeva and Kazimca gave the participants a good mood and became one of the memorable moments of the camp.
At the closing ceremony, the head of the “YAŞAT” Foundation, Elvin Huseynov, met with the children, listened to their impressions of the camp and wished them success.
With this, the sixth week of the 5th “YAŞAT” camp has successfully ended.
