The second stage of the “Best Managed Companies Azerbaijan 2026” business competition, implemented in partnership with PASHA Bank and Deloitte Private, has been launched.
This stage of the competition is of particular importance in terms of in-depth analysis of the business potential of the participating companies, as well as assessment of management and leadership practices based on international standards.
Within the framework of the second stage, participating companies have the opportunity to evaluate their business models in more detail through business meetings with professional experts. During the meetings, discussions are held based on specially prepared questions, advanced international practices are shared, and the strategic development prospects of the companies are comprehensively analyzed.
The “Best Managed Companies” program provides participating companies with the opportunity to compare their activities with international experience, improve management processes, and form a new strategic vision for long-term development. The program acts as a prestigious international platform for promoting companies with perfectly managed, competitive, and sustainable business models.
It should be noted that the “Best Managed Companies Azerbaijan” competition is aimed at promoting leading Azerbaijani companies operating in the private sector with an annual revenue of more than 20 million manats at the local and international levels. Within the framework of the program, winning companies have the opportunity to join the “Best Managed Companies” international network and take part in the same platform as the world’s leading companies.
The project’s sponsors are PASHA Bank and Deloitte Private, and its partners are the Business Development Fund, Azerbaijan-American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Azerbaijan), ADA University and İctimai Television.
The “Best Managed Companies” award program was first established in Canada in 1993 and is today recognized as one of the most prestigious business assessment programs in the world. Currently, the program is successfully implemented in 46 countries, including the USA, China, European countries, Southeast Asia, Turkiye, Mexico and Chile.
The program has been held in Azerbaijan since 2021. So far, about 50 companies have participated in the competition, and 11 companies have been awarded the “Best Managed Companies Azerbaijan” title. The winners include Araz Supermarkets, AVRORA Group, Azerconnect Group, Bridge Group of Companies, Embawood, NORM Cement (two-time winner), SƏBA, OBA Market, Veyseloglu Group of Companies (two-year winner), METAK (four-year winner and Gold Award winner) and Azersun Holding.
