The opening ceremony of the “Mobile Youth Service” project was held in Gabala

The “Mobile Youth Service” project, implemented with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is providing various services to young people in the Gabala region.
According to the Youth Foundation’s statement, the opening ceremony of the project, organized this year under the slogan “With Youth, for Youth,” was held in Gabala on July 6. The project aims to increase youth participation in various areas of society in line with the requirements of the country’s youth policy, support the development of young people’s creative potential, and contribute to making existing state support mechanisms for youth more accessible to young people living in the regions.
The ceremony began with the performance of the National Anthem and a one-minute silence in memory of the heroes who lost their lives in the struggle for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
Deputy Head of the Gabala Region Executive Authority Ataya Osmanova, Director General of the Youth Development and Career Center Azer Aliyev, Senior Adviser of the Public Relations Sector of the Partnerships and Communications Department of the State Agency for Vocational Education Havva Gozalova, and Director of the Gabala State Vocational Education Center Galib Nabiyev spoke at the event. They highlighted the project’s contribution to developing the knowledge and skills of young people in the regions, expanding their career and personal development opportunities, encouraging social engagement, and supporting their initiatives.
The “Patriotism,” “Education and Career,” “Digital Thinking,” “Physical Activity and Health,” “Creative Youth,” and “Entertainment” zones created within the framework of the project attracted great interest from participants. Young people actively took part in workshops, master classes, quizzes, and intellectual competitions organized in these zones, gaining new knowledge while also developing their practical skills.
At the same time, awareness sessions were organized by the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking. During the sessions conducted by professional experts, participants engaged in interactive discussions on topics including career choice, career planning, personal development, new opportunities created by artificial intelligence technologies, and healthy lifestyles. At the end of the day, young people who demonstrated high levels of activity during the program’s events were awarded various incentive prizes.
The activities within the framework of the “Mobile Youth Service” project in Gabala will continue until July 10.
It should be noted that the project, which will cover a total of 20 cities and regions across the country and continue until November, is being implemented with the support of the Youth Foundation and organized jointly by the Youth Development and Career Center and the “Young Volunteers” Public Union.
