The first training module, which lasted from June 23 to 27 within the framework of the "Euronews Academy" international training program, ended today.
Within the framework of the project implemented in cooperation with the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and one of the influential media organizations in Europe, "Euronews" TV channel, participants gained theoretical and practical knowledge in various areas of modern journalism for five days.
On the last day of the training program, Levan Shermadini, who held a session on the topic of "Mobile Journalism", provided detailed information on preparation of information, selection of headlines that can attract the reader's attention, and application of modern software. In addition, the skills of preparing high-quality photo and video interviews online, using proper lighting methods, editing video stories via phone, and recording audio interviews with clear sound were taught.
During the program, participants participated in trainings on a wide range of topics such as digital news gathering, artificial intelligence and SEO tools, data visualization, video strategy, social media, and mobile journalism. The trainings were conducted by professional specialists of the Euronews channel - multimedia journalist Tuba Altunkaya, social media editor Fatih Yetim and chief cameraman Levan Shermadini.
It should be noted that participants who demonstrate high achievements in the program will have the opportunity to do an internship at the Euronews channel.
