The first step from idea to real business: The 6th Startup Forum was held in Baku

Today, the 6th Startup Forum among children and teenagers aged 6-17, one of the most important business education events in Azerbaijan, was successfully held.
The event, organized by "Miniboss Business School", has already become a significant tradition in the field of entrepreneurship in our country.
This year, 20 teams presented their business projects in two categories - SIFE (Startups in Innovative Free Entrepreneurship) and SAGE (Startups for the Advancement of a Global Environment) - to well-known entrepreneurs and investors from the local business community.
11 of them performed in the SIFE category, and 9 teams performed in the SAGE category.
It should be noted that SIFE covers startups created in free entrepreneurship, while SAGE covers projects aimed at developing the global environment.
Narmina Hasanova, the founder of Baku representative office of "Miniboss Business School", said in her opening speech that, as every year, the Startup Business Forum is being held in April this year, and this stage has become the first serious presentation platform for young entrepreneurs:
"I follow the process of team formation with special attention every year. This year, students came to a common decision faster while working on the product, and all team members approached their ideas with the same enthusiasm and love. This is a very important indicator."
Speaking later, Alina Khalafova, the director of "Miniboss Business School", spoke about the importance of the forum and the school's activities:
"Today is one of the most important days of the 10-month academic year. It is today that our students present their ideas on a real stage, in front of a live audience. This is not easy at all - even many adults do not have the opportunity to speak on such platforms. However, our students have this opportunity since childhood."
According to her, during the year, students increased their knowledge and experience by participating in business tours organized by companies such as "Coca-Cola", "Aquavita", "Milla", "Diamed" and "Alufar".
Within the framework of the forum, young startups presented their projects, presenting their business plans, advantages of the idea, target audience, market research, financial indicators and initial capital needs to the jury. The presentations were evaluated by a professional jury and appropriate grants were allocated for the implementation of the projects of the selected teams.
