The final reporting event of "Woman Bazaar 5 - Sustainable Development Festival" was held

Under the slogan "5 barmağında, 5 mərifət", "Woman Bazaar 5 - Sustainable Development Festival" aims to develop the entrepreneurial activities of women from vulnerable groups and strengthen their economic independence.
This year, training and mentoring programs were organized for 60 women throughout February before the festival.
During the two days of the festival, women had the opportunity to present their brands and sell their products. In addition, various corners, master classes, panel discussions and music programs were also organized for festival participants.
The festival began on February 28 with official opening speeches. The opening ceremony was attended by Maryam Majidova, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Gender Hub Azerbaijan, Gor Garafulic, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, Beyim Ibrahimova, Senior Specialist for Corporate Social Responsibility of PASHA Holding, Rufat Atakishiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBİA, Sadagat Gahramanova, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Tamam Jafarova, Chairperson of the Committee on Family, Women and Children's Affairs of the Milli Majlis, and Suada Aliyeva, Project Manager of Woman Bazaar. After the opening speeches, certificates were presented to female entrepreneurs who participated in the festival.
On March 1, the second day of the festival, a panel discussion was organized on the topic of “Women’s Economic Empowerment: Creating Equal Rights and Developing Gender-Sensitive Marketing for SMEs”. The discussion will highlight the challenges women face in the labor market and entrepreneurial environment, access to financial resources and markets, as well as the impact of gender stereotypes on economic participation.
In general, 60 women entrepreneurs were given the opportunity to present their products to a wide audience during the festival, contributing to strengthening women’s economic freedom.
It should be noted that the festival, “Woman Bazaar 5 – Sustainable Development Festival”, held at Passage 1901 from February 28 to March 1 with the support of PASHA Holding, was dedicated to March 8 – International Women’s Day. It should be noted that the topic of women’s empowerment occupies an important place in PASHA Holding’s CSR strategy. In this direction, PASHA Holding and its subsidiaries implement various projects, including the AFAQ project, Ana Sahibkar, and Woman Bazaar projects.
