The 3rd "RoboCode" camp of "ASAN Service" sponsored by Expressbank has ended

The “RoboCode III” robotic coding camp, jointly organized by the “Innovation Center” of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, “Bilişim Vadisi” and “SAHA Robotics” company, has concluded with the sponsorship of “Expressbank”.
The closing event was attended by Vusal Rustamov, Director of the “Innovation Center”, Tuba Öztepe, Deputy CEO of “Bilişim Vadisi”, and Ayshen Hasanova, Head of the Advertising and Marketing Department of Expressbank.
In her speech, Ayshen Hasanova emphasized the importance that Expressbank attaches to the education of young people and their active participation in technological innovations. She also expressed her satisfaction with the bank’s support for projects in this direction and its contribution to the development of Azerbaijani youth. She noted that investments in future areas such as robotics and coding play an important role in strengthening the country’s digital ecosystem.
After the opening speech of the event, the prototypes prepared by the 5 teams formed during the camp and that advanced to the final stage were evaluated by the jury.
Based on the results, the "Qızılbash" team was awarded 1st place, the "Soilmate" team was awarded 2nd place, and the "Spark Mind" team was awarded 3rd place.
The winners received a number of privileges from "SAHA Robotics" and "Bilişim Vadisi", as well as gifts from Expressbank. In addition, the winning team that fully developed and completed its project will have the opportunity to participate in the "Take Off Istanbul" startup summit.
It should be noted that more than 150 applications were received for the month-long camp, and 105 participants selected based on the criteria were given online and physical training. The training program included technological topics such as "Fundamentals of ROS 2", "SLAM algorithms", "ROS 2 tools and creating a personal environment in Gazebo", as well as training in entrepreneurship and team building.
