STEM classes for girls start in Beylagan with the support of Azercell

"Mil", one of the winners of the social project competition held by the leading mobile operator to support the expansion of women's social and economic opportunities, has launched the "Robogirls" project. With the support of the company, STEM trainings are being launched for girls studying in the villages and settlements of Beylagan region.
The initiative is aimed at increasing the interest of 6th-7th grade students in the fields of technology and innovation, developing their digital skills and supporting the formation of future career prospects.
A total of 90 schoolgirls applied for the program. During the selection stage, participants demonstrated their knowledge in a test exam covering computer science and artificial intelligence. Based on the assessment conducted by teachers and independent experts, 30 schoolgirls with the highest results were given the opportunity to participate in the trainings.
Within the framework of the training program, participants will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in robotics and STEM. The lessons aim to promote students' knowledge in the field of technology, develop analytical and creative thinking, as well as problem-solving skills.
It should be noted that for the third year running, Azercell's social project competition contributes to building an inclusive society by supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening the role of women in public life.
