SOCAR Midstream held a tree planting campaign

SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC organized a tree planting campaign near Mushfigabad settlement of Absheron region. The event was held jointly with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. Employees of both organizations and volunteers of the ministry participated in the event.

A total of 625 trees were planted on one hectare of land within the framework of the campaign, which was held on the 30th kilometer of Baku-Shamakhi highway, in the area allocated for greening. Taking into account the climatic characteristics of the area, seedlings of Eldar pine and olive varieties were selected, and a drip irrigation system was installed to provide the trees with continuous water supply.

The campaign is one of SOCAR's initiatives aimed at protecting and improving the environment in the country.

Farhan Aliyev, Executive Director of SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC, thanked the campaign participants and said that such events make a significant contribution to increasing green areas in our country.

SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC was registered on July 24, 2014, and the company currently represents SOCAR's strategic shareholder rights and interests in oil pipelines and related facilities.
