PASHA Capital Investment Company participated as a sponsor in the “Azerbaijan Financial Forum” held on February 14, 2025, with the support of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the organization of the country's leading financial institutions, and contributed to the organization of the event.
At the forum, where the main topic of discussion was the achievements and challenges in the current financial sector of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Hajiyev, Director of PASHA Capital and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan Capital Market Participants Association (AFBİA), made an opening speech and noted, that “Digitalization is no longer an option, but a necessity. The forum, organized by the Azerbaijan Banks Association, Azerbaijan Microfinance Association, Azerbaijan Insurance Association, Azerbaijan Fintech Association and Azerbaijan Capital Market Participants Association, aimed to be a platform for discussing the achievements and challenges of the Azerbaijani financial sector over the past period. Five panel discussions were organized:
§ The impact of financial sector development on the country's global competitiveness;
§ Financing opportunities for the non-oil sector;
§ Expanding financial inclusion;
§ Introducing new digital solutions in the capital market;
§ The NBCI sector and regulatory changes.
Speaking at the panel “Application of new digital solutions in the capital market”, Orkhan Safarov, Advisor to the Director for Legal and Corporate Governance of PASHA Capital, provided detailed information to the participants on innovations within the framework of legal regulations.
In addition, it was emphasized that within the framework of the activities of AFBİA, work will continue to contribute to the innovative development of the financial sector, strengthening investor confidence and contributing to the economic development of Azerbaijan.
