New volleyball team established with the support of “Azerlotereya”

"Azerlotereya" OJSC has made another contribution to the development of sports within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.

A women's volleyball club called "DH Volley" has been created with the company's main sponsorship.

This club, founded by "DH Idman" LLC, will participate in the Premier League of the Azerbaijan Championship and the national cup competitions in the 2025/2026 season.

On this occasion, a signing ceremony was held between the coaches and players of the "DH Volley" club and the club's head, Sharaf Yalchyn.

Sharaf Yalchyn stated during his speech at the press conference that "DH Volley" Club is not only starting a new season, but is entering a new era with a strong and ambitious team: "In the 2025 season, we want to make a name for ourselves not only in local competitions, but also in the international arena. For this purpose, we have strengthened our team with both members of the Azerbaijani national team and elite players with European experience. We believe that with these players, "DH Volley" will be one of the strongest candidates in the championship race. The main vision of our club is to add value to the country's volleyball in a short time, and in the long term to turn "DH Volley" into a brand that competes, is recognized and respected in Europe." Sharaf Yalchyn thanked Shahin Baghirov, the president of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, for his support in establishing the club.

The head coach of the "DH Volley" club is Farid Jalalov, a professional volleyball player who has been awarded various prizes. The team includes professional female volleyball players captain Aynur Imanova, Katerina Zhidkova, Jeyran Imanova, Nilufer Agazade and Raziya Aliyeva.

"Azerlotereya" OJSC supports a number of initiatives to encourage young people to engage in sports and a healthy lifestyle, support sports clubs and develop various sports. The goal is to achieve mass participation in sports in our country and the development of professional sports in football, basketball and volleyball. The company's "Misli" brand signed a historic cooperation agreement with the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation in 2024 to support the development of Azerbaijani volleyball. The establishment of the "DH Volley" club aims to further develop this cooperation.
