Nar strengthens equal service environment for everyone

Nar, distinguished by its socially-oriented initiatives, is expanding its activities towards the formation of an equal and inclusive environment within the framework of the new DEIB (Diversity, Equality, Inclusion and Belonging) strategy called "We Are All One" ("Biz Hamımız Birik"). The main goal of the strategy is to ensure that mobile services are more accessible to people with disabilities.

As part of the project, employees of Nar's customer centers have started providing services to hearing-impaired subscribers in sign language. This initiative contributes to improving the quality of communication in customer centers and making the service accessible to everyone.

In addition, since last year, out-of-hours service has been provided in Nar offices for the convenience of people with disabilities. Also, the "Elmler Akademiyasi" and "Memar Ajami" customer centers have been fully adapted for wheelchair users, and entrances and exits and infrastructure have been reconstructed to ensure the comfortable movement of these people.

It should be noted that, in order to promote an inclusive society, Nar launched the first online sign language dictionary, jestdili.az, in 2021. As a continuation of this initiative, a sign language mobile application, which will allow learning this language more conveniently, will also be launched soon.
