"Let's be in solidarity" charity project from the "OBA" supermarket chain

A large-scale charity and corporate social responsibility project organized by the "OBA" market chain and called "Let's be in solidarity" ("Həmrəy olaq") was implemented on the occasion of December 31 - New Year and World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day.

The main goal of the project, which spanned several days, was to support socially vulnerable groups, contribute to the joy of the holiday for children, and at the same time promote the values ​​of solidarity and sharing. As part of the project, a charity sales fair was organized at the head office of the "OBA" market chain.

At the fair, handicrafts made by minors living in the shelter of the "Children of Azerbaijan" Public Union, as well as dishes cooked by employees of various structures of "OBA" and handicrafts, were put up for sale.

The management team of the "Veysaloglu" Group of Companies and business structures included in the Group of Companies also actively participated in the project. Guests and employees participating in the event demonstrated a real example of solidarity by sharing the joy of children.

Within the framework of the charity fair, a meeting was held between Natavan Ibrahimova, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “OBA” market chain, and Kamala Agazade, Chairman of the “Children of Azerbaijan” Public Union. During the meeting, they exchanged views on future cooperation opportunities in strengthening the social well-being of children.

Within the framework of the project, numerous household products, as well as food aid, were provided to the “Children of Azerbaijan” Public Union on behalf of the “OBA” market chain. This support is aimed at improving the daily living conditions of children.

One of the most memorable moments of the event was when children and “OBA” employees came together around the same table and shared the joy of the holiday. At the next event held in the building of the “Children of Azerbaijan” Public Union, a special program was presented by the children of the shelter. At the end of the program, the funds received from the charity fair were presented by “OBA” to the Chairman of the PU, Kamala Agazade. Entertainment was also organized for children within the framework of the holiday program, gifts were presented by Santa Claus, and an unforgettable smile was created on their faces.

The “Let's be in solidarity” project, as an important part of the corporate social responsibility strategy of the “OBA” supermarket chain, has once again demonstrated the company's attention and care for society, especially children.
